How long will Rural Hall Taxidermy have my item?
Rural Hall Taxidermy is proud of the 3 - 6 month turn around time (according to work load).
Does Rural Hall Taxidermy require a deposit?
Yes, A deposit of no less than 50% of the total is required before work begins. In certain situations Rural Hall Taxidermy will store your item for 2 weeks without a deposit. Providing we have freezer space. Work will not begin until the deposit is made. If you decide against having your item mounted. There will be a $30.00 storage fee, payable before your item is returned to you. If deposit is not made with-in two weeks the item will be discard at Rural Hall Taxidermy's discretion.
What type of materials does Rural Hall Taxidermy use?
Rural Hall Taxidermy uses only the best supplies from the most dependable suppliers. All materials used is competition grade materials. We do not use commercial grade materials.
What is the hours of operation for Rural Hall Taxidermy?
Rural Hall Taxidermy is open by appointment only. All though we operate the studio full-time, we do the majority of our work during "3rd shift". This is for the simple fact we can get more work done with less phone calls and customers stopping by. We have found this to be a more productive time to work.
Does Rural Hall Taxidermy have displays or references from past customers?
Rural Hall Taxidermy has displays of different items in our studio. We can supply you with any references from past customers at your request.
What forms of payment does Rural Hall Taxidermy accept?
Rural Hall Taxidermy accepts, Cash, personal checks, money orders. Final payment is to be made in the form of cash. Personal checks are accepted only for the deposit.
When will I know my item is finished and ready to pick up?
The "Terms of service and agreement" signed by you at the time you drop your item off will be dated for a estimated completion date. Rural Hall Taxidermy will contacted you with a one week advance notice of the completion of your item.
What information do I need to provide with my trophy?
Rural Hall Taxidermy along with the state of North Carolina requires the big game tag number of your trophy, location of kill along with date of kill.
Speaking of the state of North Carolina, Are you licensed by the state?
Yes! We are licensed by the state of North Carolina and have periodic inspections throughout the year by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (better known as the game warden).
How did you get involved with Taxidermy?
I started my taxidermy career as a hobby several years ago through a mail order program from the "Northwestern School of Taxidermy" With very little success this way TI started taking the course offered at a community college, networked with other taxidermist and have became an award winning taxidermist.
